Snow will pause overnight and resume early Monday morning, . The second wave of snow starting Monday is expected to continue into Tuesday afternoon on the state’s mountain passes and peaks.

In Denver, snow was forecast until 5 p.m. Monday, but minimal accumulation was expected after 6 a.m., according to the weather service. A trace to 1/2 inch of new snow was expected between 6 a.m. and the storm’s end, .
