For the 50th anniversary of the Peace Corps, former volunteers will be holding more than 700 global dinner parties across the nation. There are many in Colorado, as it is one of top 10 states with former volunteers. Amanda Horvath is hosting a dinner at her home on Logan street in Denver. She will be serving a traditional Paraguan dish called Mandi'o Chyryry. Mandi'o is a root eaten by many people in Paraguay. Chyryry means to fry or fried.
