Colorado Parks and Wildlife manages 42 state parks, all of Colorado's wildlife, more than 300 state wildlife areas and a host of recreational programs.

Park County,COLORADO-May 11, 2004-Gary Nichols , Tourism and Community Development Director, Park County, fly fishes on Fourmile Creek in South Park. This stream, on a private ranch, is one of several now being offerered for public fishing through the South Park Fly Fishers. The program, funded by a grant from Great Outdoors Colorado, allows a few people a day to fish private waters through a permitting process. The program helps the ranchers financially too.
