Dave Hyde has been a Sun Sentinel sports columnist since 1990. He was named the National Headliner Award columnist of the year in 2016 and finished second in the National Headliner and Associated Press Sports Editor contest five other times. He鈥檚 won the APSE award for investigatory work and ranked in the Top 10 of APSE writing contests 15 times.
