Jeffco open space advocate PLAN Jeffco is hosting "In Plein Sight," and art festival that will include 27 artists painting outdoors at different county parks.

Metro State student heads to China for world collegiate climbing championships

Metropolitan State University of Denver Student Remi Arata will travel to China later this month to compete in the World University Sport Climbing Championship.

The Colorado School of Mines Geology Museum got a big surprise when it inherited $1.75 million in materials from a woman with seemingly no connection to the school.

Churches plan to open doors during especially cold nights

The Evergreen Emergency Shelter program will provide shelter to the community鈥檚 homeless on nights that are expected to drop below 20 degrees.

Playworks Colorado provides learning through play, conflict resolution

PlayWorks has a coach in 14 schools in Colorado and has a role in Denver, Mapleton, Adams 12 and Aurora school districts.

A 2.4 mile bike path opened yesterday connecting Genesee Park to Evergreen Parkway. The path give cyclists an alternative to riding along Interstate 70 during that stretch.

You can now cycle between Denver, Glenwood Springs without getting on I-70

Cyclists will no longer have to travel along the shoulder of Interstate 70 when heading into the mountains now that a new bike path is open through Genesee Park.
