Kieran Nicholson, who has been with The Denver Post since 1986, covers breaking news. He has two staff Pulitizer Prizes for breaking news, for the Columbine shooting and the Aurora Theater shooting. Nicholson has been recognized by the Emergency Services Public Information Officers of Colorado as Print Media Representative of the Year six times. He was named 2006 Print Reporter of the Year by the Mile High Chapter of the American Red Cross.
