She graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with a master's in journalism after earning a bachelor's in history from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse.

Denver International Airport, 8500 Pena Boulevard : In December, Southwest Airlines grabbed the No. 2 title at Denver International Airport when it surpassed Frontier Airlines in the domestic market share. Frontier says it doesn't care about market share as much as it cares about profitability. Southwest says it has filled a gap in service, and Denver cusotmers have responded.
