Since 1962, it抖阴ap run a 7,634 acre farm that grows corn and alfalfa and raises cattle. Now, it抖阴ap partnering with the 10th Mountain Whiskey and Spirit Company to create their spirits. The tribe is one example of a broader trend of Native Americans breaking into new industries as more people claim their Indigenous heritage: 9.6 million in 2020, a huge jump from 5.2 million in 2010. The enterprise was established to build a viable, profitable farming-ranching enterprise which would maximize employment and generate revenue for the tribe and its tribal membership. The farm is made up of 7,634 irrigated acres under 110 center pivot sprinklers producing alfalfa, corn, wheat and hybrid seed. The ranch manages a 700 head cow-calf operation.
