Scott Travis has been an education writer with the South Florida Sun Sentinel since 1999. His coverage of the Parkland tragedy helped the newspaper win the 2019 Pulitzer Prize for Public Service. He graduated from the University of Alabama and previously worked at newspapers in North Carolina and Mississippi. He鈥檚 also an actor and karaoke singer.
