Go+Do reporter
Tamara Markard
Tamara Markard is the Go+Do reporter for the Greeley Tribune. She studied journalism at Lane Community College in Eugene, OR. and College of the Desert in Palm Desert, CA.
Tamara worked for her hometown paper, The Desert Sun in Palm Springs, CA, as a general assignment reporter before moving to city reporter, covering city government, crime, investigative and human interest stories for Cathedral City, Desert Hot Spring, Thousand Palms and Rancho Mirage.
After getting her feet wet at The Desert Sun, Tamara took a position with The Daily Courier in Prescott, AZ., where she covered veteran affairs, county government, courts and crime.
Tamara moved to Colorado in 2014 and opened Ink Slinger Freelance Writing and Photography in Aurora.
Missing the hustle of the newsroom, she sought out reporter jobs in Colorado, landing a position with the Tribune in June 2019.
When not working, Tamara enjoys target shooting, reading, anything outdoors, and spending time with her adopted dog, a Corgi-Chihuahua mix named Don Luigi Siciliano.
You can reach her on Twitter @Tmarkard1.
