Dogs are a common sight on the trails up to Summit County鈥檚 many peaks, but like humans, they sometimes bite off a little more than they can chew.

A trench filled in with a clay-like material could be dug around the perimeter of the golf course and water could be poured into the open space in the remaining gravel, and pumped back out as necessary.
