DENVER, CO--Tourists enjoy the newly installed "Freedom Quilt Experience" above them Friday afternoon hung in the rotunda of the State Capitol. The quilt, ten panels approximately 3ft wide by 16 ft long, was designed by Cynthia Martin was quilted by several quilting organizations, mostly local, to memorialize the tragic events of September 11th 2001. The quilt was commissioned by the Peter A. Kudla Family Foundation in collaboration with Redline and The Denver Foundation and will hang in the rotunda of the State Capital until next Friday, September 16th, 2011. Andy Cross, The Denver Post
