The Peck family have lived at The Crossing, a family shelter operated by the Denver Rescue Mission, for about three months after parents Michael and Patricia found themselves homeless after moving to Denver from New Mexico. Their children, Eithan, 6, right, son Elijah, 2, left, and daughter Elyssa, 4 (off camera) all wore their pajamas to show their support for the upcoming PJ Day fundraiser, which will help fund The Crossing. The kickoff event today at the St. Francis Center in Denver launches the 7th Annual PJ Day 2012. Denver Mayor Michael Hancock appeared to promote the fundraiser fully clad in his Denver Broncos PJ's. PJ Day will benefit Denver's Road Home, the 10-year plan to end homelessness. The pajamas serve as a reminder that not everyone has a place to put on their pajamas and sleep at night.
