Colorado lawmakers on Monday approved six study committees that will meet during the interim between this year’s legislative session, which ends May 11, and next year.
The Legislative Council, which includes top-ranking lawmakers from the House and the Senate, approved committees that will study health insurance, the state’s system of financing public schools, the state procurement process, school violence, auto insurance and rural issues.
The committees still need to be approved by the House and the Senate.
