Dive Bar Tuesday!
Come on. Have a sense of humor.
Tuesdays aren’t crawling with after-school activities, so Dive Bar Tuesdays press on with a visit to the on Colfax.
But they’re not joking; they really do have some of the best Mexican food in town and Tuesday nights provide a 2-for-1 (or, if you’re a comedian, 1/2 priced, or buy-one-get-one-free) Ladies night special on all wine, well, and drafts.
Try the green chile. So good, it’s silly.

Show your resistance with Backwards Records night at hi-dive.
While it sounds like an event that calls for sitting around a record player claiming to have located the “Paul is dead call number 9” part of a song, is a music label, and it’ll showcase its own recording artists about one Tuesday a month.
It’ll usually have media image videos and a resident DJ, too. Very forward-thinking.

The Eight at Eight Dinner Club is gaining popularity by the week.
The the nouveau dating organization provides dining events for small groups consisting of 4 men and 4 women, but their demand hath spilled over from dating to social!
Eight at Eight now presents their Ladies Night! Always in a classy setting, registrants are invited to meet at the bar at 7:30 (to be seated for dinner at 8) to chat, a great way for local singles to gather and mingle.
Try it. What do you have to lose? Ladies Night is on Thursday but you must be registered by today to attend.
