TeenHollywood.com reports Lopez, who nearly married Affleck in 2003 but wed singer Marc Anthony less than a year later, said in a new interview, “I want him to be happy. He’s a great guy. We had a great time together. I hope he’s found his place and found some happiness.”

Dave Chappelle wants to set the record straight: “I’m not crazy, I’m not smoking crack,” the comedian told Time magazine in an interview more than a week after production on his hit Comedy Central show was suspended.

“I’m definitely stressed out,” said Chappelle, who went to South Africa for a “spiritual retreat” after a creative rift with Comedy Central over “Chappelle’s Show.” Many media outlets reported Chappelle checked himself into a mental health facility there. “I figured, let me just cut myself off from everybody, take a minute and pull a Flintstone – stop a speeding car by using my bare feet as the brakes.”

Janet Jackson has been sued by a songwriter who claims her Grammy-nominated hit, “All for You,” was ripped off from him. Michael Ortega of Santa Cruz, Calif., contends he wrote the song in 1986 for his then-girlfriend and played it for Jackson’s songwriters Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. Ortega told MSNBC.com his suit also names Jam, Lewis, Virgin Records and others, alleging copyright infringement, slander and other charges.

Brad Pitt respects his alleged girlfriend Angelina Jolie for her charity work, he told GQ magazine.

“Angelina donates staggering amounts of money,” Pitt said. “She probably makes money so she can give more away. That seems to be more her concern than films.”

We’re guessing the same thing, judging from two of Jolie’s latest films, “Taking Lives” and “Life or Something Like It.”

50 Cent made a plea bargain to avoid a jail sentence for assault and battery charges, MTV.com reported.

50 Cent, whose real named is Curtis Jackson, must attend anger-management counseling and produce an educational anti-violence public service announcement, a Massachusetts judge ruled. He also was banned from carrying a gun in Massachusetts, was ordered to pay $3,000 in court costs and must make restitution to the victims. 50 Cent attacked fans at a concert at the Hippodrome in Springfield, Mass., a year ago.
