Denver Nuggets forward Kenyon Martin had arthroscopic surgery on his left knee today and was expected to begin rehabilitation in 10 days to two weeks, the team said.
The Nuggets said Martin’s prognosis was excellent for next season.
He is coming off a year in which he appeared in 70 games, averaging 15.5 points and 7.3 rebounds per game.
Denver was eliminated in the first round of the playoffs by San Antonio.
