Tykes in tow!
Every Wednesday through December, you can bring the little one to a current release movie at the Regency theater in Tamarac Square.
Not that it was illegal to bring kids to movies before, but don’t worry about getting a sitter or the little fits and starts the little one has while sitting still. Chances are, you’re not bothering anyone!
Call for shows and showtimes. No NC-17 flicks though. You know better.

Live long. Prosper.
If Sci-Fi is your hi-fi, you’ve got an association waiting for you.
You guessed it; the Denver Area Science Fiction Association meets this evening for discussion, mingling, and a strong sense of imagination.
Perhaps pills of soma are passed around. And maybe you get to learn how to do that Spock thing with your hand.
Who knew that science and fiction would go so well together? (You did!)
What: Denver Area Science Fiction Association
Where: Wild Oats Market, 1111 S. Washington Street, 7:30 p.m.
Cost: free

Off The Wall. On the dancefloor.
It’s fun.
It’s crowded.
It’s totally ’80s.
And not the over-played, totally ruined hair band stuff. The good stuff. The stuff you probably kept around and still rock to today.
And Off The Wall at hi-dive on Wednesdays is a way to celebrate that not-so-long lost lyrical love of the 1980s.
Dancing. Drinking. Lots of asymmetrical hair cuts, Flock of Seagull style. You know what I’m talkin’ about.
What: Off The Wall with DJ Jason Heller
Where: hi-dive, 7 South Broadway, 9 p.m.
Cost: $3
