Four-time winner John Olive of Broadmoor Golf Club and Charlie Post of Plum Creek Country Club won their matches Wednesday to advance to the round of 16 at the Colorado Golf Association’s Senior Match Play Championship at Meridian Golf Club in Englewood.

In an upset, John Callahan of Lone Tree eliminated the third-seeded and 2004 top CGA points winner Bill Boyd of Highland Hills 2 and 1. Brady Hendren of Cherry Creek defeated 2000 champion Pat Mooney of Meridian 1-up to move on, but Sean Forey of Rolling Hills, after ousting the defending champion Tuesday, lost 4 and 3 to Steve Bell of Denver CC.
