Littleton – A manhunt for a bank-robbery suspect today forced several schools to lock their doors while police combed the area.

Mark Twain, Franklin, Highlands and Hopkins elementary schools in Littleton were locked down as a precautionary measure following the crime.

No one was reported hurt in the 9:20 a.m. robbery at First Bank, 2300 E. Arapahoe in Littleton.

The robber claimed to have a gun, but he never showed one during the robbery, according to police.
