The party’
Celebrate Denver,’ a free, grand-opening party for the public, takes place Dec.
9, from 5-11 p.m. The event will feature music, art and food, access to the
building’s main attractions and the ‘Smile-High Laser Show,’ a 12-minute
presentation every hour on the hour.
The parking
The curvy Colorado Convention Center garages have 650 covered spaces on the
first two levels, 350 spaces on top. The rate: $2 per hour, $7 for an eight-hour
period, $12 for any longer period.
The website
The center’s website, , offers plenty of information,
including event schedules and contact numbers, directions, parking details and
links to tourist sites. There is also a webcam that promises to show live scenes
from inside the center.
