“Off Road to Athens,” a high-energy documentary that follows professional mountain bikers around the world for six months as they try to qualify for spots on the U.S. Olympic team, will be shown Thursday at 9 p.m. at the Mayan Theater. “It’s a full-blown two-hour show that will bring tears to your eyes because of the intensity and emotion,” said Alison Dunlap of Colorado Springs, one of the women involved in the chase. “You can see firsthand what we go through as professional cyclists.”
