DU tennis team ousted at NCAAs
The University of Denver women’s doubles team of senior Yanick Dullens and junior Suzana Maksovic was eliminated at the NCAA women’s championships in Athens, Ga., by William & Mary’s Candice Fuchs and Megan Moulton-Levy.
The 21st-ranked William & Mary team handed Dullens and Maksovic a 6-4, 6-2 loss Tuesday.
Dullens and Maksovic finished the season 25-11 and were the first Denver team to qualify for the NCAA individual doubles championships.
UNC adds assistant coach
Northern Colorado men’s basketball coach Craig Rasmuson completed his staff for next season with the hiring of Richard Reed as an assistant coach.
Reed spent the past three seasons at Loyola Marymount. His primary duties for the Bears will be recruiting, game preparation and working with perimeter players.
