Hikers at the Hike for Youth can choose trails varying from difficult to special strolls designed for hikers with kids or dogs.
The hikes costs $25 per person, and hikers are encouraged to raise pledges for the seven local non-profit community groups: Butterfly Hope, cityWILD, Colorado Mountain Club, Front Range Earth Force, Mile High Youth Corps, Thorne Ecological Institute and The Women’s Wilderness Institute.
Go there — Hikes begin at 7 a.m. and an after-hike party . with live music, food, drinks and a raffle . is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Registration is required. Click over to www.hikeforyouth.org for more information.
