Ute Mountain Roundup Rodeo
Enjoy rodeo action Thursday-Saturday at the Ute Mountain Roundup Rodeo at the American Legion Arena in Cortez. Parades will travel down Main Street beginning at 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, followed by country music and dancing at the American Legion Hall 9 p.m.-1:30 a.m. Rodeo tickets are $10 for reserved seats, $8 for adults and $5 for children under 12 for general admission. Tickets may be purchased at the rodeo grounds each night at 6 p.m. Reserved seats may be purchased in advance at Nu-Way Western Wear, 33 E. Main St. Other events during the weekend include the Arts and Crafts Fiesta in Cortez City Park and the Southwest Regional Antique Tractor Show at the Montezuma County Fairgrounds. Wild West Fest for the family
A family-oriented festival, Telluride’s Wild West Fest Thursday-June 12 highlights and celebrates Western arts, culture and customs. In addition to workshops, Wild West Fest features performances in music, dance and theater and horseback rides, celebrity horseback cutting, cookouts, hikes, historic mine tours and participation in Ranch Rodeo events. Strawberry Days in Glenwood
Get jammin’ June 17-19 at the Strawberry Days Festival in Glenwood Springs at Sayre “Strawberry” Park, Hyland Park and Grand Avenue.
