The Colorado Mormon Chorale will give a concert to commemorate the 200th birthday of the Prophet Joseph Smith at 8 tonight at Highlands Ranch Stake Center, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 9800 S. Foothills Canyon Blvd. Cost is $5.
The concert will be presented at 7 p.m. on June 4 at Arvada Stake Center, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 7080 Independence St.
Sunday
The Buddhist/Christian Interfaith Community at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 1615 Ogden St., is having a meditation and presentation, “The Practice of Recalling Kindnesses,” by The Venerable Claude D’Estree, Senior Dharma Teacher and The Rev. Toni Cook, pastor of St. Paul’s, at 5 p.m.
“Love, Desire and Attachment,” a class with Buddhist teachings and meditations, will be at 6 p.m. at Avalokiteshvara Buddhist Center, 1081 Marion St., Denver. Cost is $10.
A free four-week class on “recalling past-life lessons, interpreting your dreams and moving closer to God via Soul Travel,” based on a book by Howard Klemp, spiritual leader of ECKANKAR, Religion of the Light and Sound of God, will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sundays June 5-26 at the ECKANKAR Center of Denver, 5800 E. Evans Ave., Denver.

A contemplative prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m. at Montview Boulevard Presbyterian Church, 1980 Dahlia St. A discussion on the practice of silent prayer and meditation will follow.

Temple Micah is having a “Shabbat in the Park” service at 6 p.m. at Picnic Site No. 2 in Washington Park, near Exposition Avenue and South Downing Street. Take a picnic.
