Three Littleton-based production companies said Thursday that they have combined under a single name in an effort to attract more work from cable and network television outlets.

Rocket Pictures, High Noon Productions and Great Divide Pictures will now operate as High Noon Entertainment. The company produces reality-based shows such as “Unwrapped” on the Food Network, and “If Walls Could Talk” on Home and Garden Television.

“Our primary goal is to redefine our brand and raise our profile,” said Jim Berger, chief executive for High Noon Entertainment. “We have a lot of current series in development, and this is the perfect opportunity to leverage this under one banner, simplify our process, and define our brand as an A-list production company.”

The three privately held production companies were founded in Denver nine years ago by four former KUSA journalists; Berger, Sonny Hutchison, Chris Wheeler, and Duke Hartman.

High Noon Entertainment has produced more than 1,500 hours of programming. The company employs 150 workers in Littleton and 25 people in a Los Angeles office.
