Q: My guy believes that public displays of affection are inappropriate. I feel if you really are attracted to someone you can’t keep your hands off of them.

You want people to know they are with you.

He doesn’t open doors, he walks ahead of me, he doesn’t let me walk first, he won’t hold my hand if other people are around, he whispers I love you if other people are around when he’s talking on the phone.

What do you think? I feel that he’s not that into me. He states he’s not comfortable with public displays of affection, and there is nothing more to it.

SCOTT: I wouldn’t say that he’s not into you; he might just be a bit more inhibited than the rest of us.

Also, it’s important to know that everyone has their own comfort level when it comes to PDA (public displays of affection), but
let’s not confuse the PDA issue with his fundamental deficiency of being a gentleman. Please tell me he doesn’t really walk in front of you and then doesn’t open the door for you.

Say it’s not true. Was this guy raised by wolves?

Evidently, you’re not getting what you need out of this relationship, but I wouldn’t bag on him just yet.

What you really need is something to feel worthy of you and you of it.

Let wolf boy know what you need out of this and see how it flies. He should treat you with respect and you should feel that
you’re a priority in his life.

You can’t always change a guy, but what you can do with this one is give him some pointers on how to treat a lady. If he still doesn’t get it, hang it up and move on to someone who already knows what they’re doing.
