Noah Jessop is a graduating high school senior from Castle Rock who has been home schooled.

His studies have concentrated on math, physics and chemistry, as well as ancient Greek and Latin. Additionally, he pursued a Great Books study program based on the curriculum of St. John’s College.

Noah is a finalist for a National Merit Scholarship.

He has been involved with theater and musical theater since he was 8, and has studied dance and voice. He took selected classes at Douglas County High School and was a submitting student in the International Baccalaureate Theater Program.

Noah performed in many shows at Douglas County High School, including “Hello, Dolly!” and “Much Ado About Nothing.” He played the leading role in the musical “Honk!”

Noah is a founding member of the Castle Rock Players’ Youth Ensemble Series and performed in the 2005 Colorado All State Choir.

In September, Noah will attend the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to study mechanical engineering or physics.
