Chefs to host demos on plaza

On four consecutive Saturdays this summer, Fillmore Plaza in Cherry Creek North will host a series of free cooking demonstrations by chefs whose names you know. Starting at 10:30 a.m. and continuing to late afternoon, the plaza will become an outdoor kitchen where local and national chefs will do their thing. Celebrity chef demos, starting at 2:30 p.m., are: July 16, Laura Bracha and David Hirsch of Moosewood Restaurant; July 23, Food Network “Melting Pot” host Aaron Sanchez; July 30, (at 2 p.m.) Martin Yan of “Yan Can Cook”; and Aug. 6, Chicago’s Rick Bayless, chef/owner of Frontera Grill and Topolobampo.
