TICKETS
Tickets to the U.S. Women’s Open are available. Practice-round tickets are $15 per day; tickets to the championship rounds Thursday-Sunday are $35 per day. A pass for all days is $125. To purchase tickets go to www.2005uswomensopen.com, visit any King Soopers location, or call 1-877-325-GOLF. Tickets also will be available at the admission gate throughout the event, based on availability.
FAN TIPS
Dress for comfort
Wear comfortable walking shoes (no golf spikes!) and don’t spare the sunscreen.
Bags
Any kind of bag – backpack, fanny pack, shoulder bag – must be 12-by-12-by-6-inches or smaller. Diaper bags are allowed.
Sitting and standing
No lawn chairs. No stepladders or step stools. Seat sticks and seat canes are allowed.
Electronics
No cellphones – none. Cameras are allowed on practice rounds, but not during competition (Thursday through Sunday). No radios or minitelevisions.
Kids – bring ’em
Every paying adult is allowed to bring nine children 17 and under free of charge. Kids will get a free cap and lunch voucher, and there will be special programs and displays for children. Also, the first row of the bleachers will be reserved for children.
Disabled
There will be special viewing areas, and 80 scooters will be available on a first come, first served basis at the main admissions gate. Wheelchair bound spectators should contact the Championship Office at 303-806-6736 to arrange for parking and transportation needs.
