Who: Cindy Nicola of Aurora, Colorado.

Where: Paradise Island -Bahamas

Out and About: Tired of the snow? head on down to the Bahamas,
this 80ish temperatures were the best. I met up with family from Ft Lauderdale
to attend my Nephews wedding which was held on the sunny beach
of the Bahamas. Pure white sand The sunsets were gorgeous and the
people are so very friendly and helpful. Driving on the left side of the road
was kind of scary. Nassau is 20 miles long and 7 miles wide, so needless to
say it doesn’t take any time at all to get around. Nightlife included live bands
and dancing till wee hours of the morning and gambling at the casinos.

Travel Tip: Many cruise ships harbor in the Bahamas, the Package deals at the hotels are very worth the price, all meals are included unless you want a romantic
quiet dinner for just the two of you you’ll have to pay a few extra dollars.
Lounging around the pool was the best, so many people to meet.
Onsite BBQ’s and always live entertainment. I flew out from Ft Lauderdale, which is only a 30-minute flight. Customs were very pleasant people. Note: I used my birth certificate to enter but starting January 2006 they will only accept passports. The exchange rate is $1 for $1.
