Out and about: Taking a beach vacation is just the reward for a stressful senior year at high school, and an all-inclusive resort makes the trip affordable for cost-conscious parents. The resort is located by the second largest reef in the world and has an excellent dive shop for scuba diving and snorkeling excursions. You could easily keep yourself entertained with all the planned activities provided day and night at the resort, or cave in to the beach bum attitude, relaxing in a hammock, sun bathing at the two pools, or at the white sandy beach.
Travel tip: If you’re 18 or older, you get all the privileges of an adult at the resort. If you’re a scuba diver, you can hire a private divemaster from Dive Palancar, the dive shop located on the premises, to accompany you and your group on a 2-tank scuba dive for $35 US. You get special attention, and the divemaster will find and point out fish and other cool sights at the reef.
