Where: Oasis Sporting Clays Club, Mesquite, Nevada
Out and About: We generally shoot sporting clays at Kiowa Creek Sporting Clays Club in Kiowa but decided to head west and try another club. Five couples caravanned to Mesquite. The guys did some sporting clays, trap & skeet shooting. The weather was great with just enough wind to make the targets challenging. The ladies enjoyed shopping in St. George & Santa Clara, Utah.
Travel Tip: The Oasis Hotel & Resort has package deals at bargain prices. If you are not into target shooting there are also golf packages available. Also, there is a great pottery store, Way Cool…Dirt Cheap in Santa Clara (just west of St. George).
