Where: Keukenhof gardens, Netherlands
Out and About: The four of us flew into Warsaw, Poland and
then went to Krakow, Poland and then to Prague, Czech Republic by train. We then rented a car and drove through CR and across Germany to the Netherlands and visited the Keukenhof gardens the day before returning to the US.
Travel Tips: Tulip season is BIG in Holland. Get accommodations early in Amsterdam or nearby Haarlam. The gardens are open next year from 23 March to 19 May, and cost of admission is 12.50 Euro per person. The surrounding tulip fields are really in full bloom in mid to late April and the weather is good then too.
