Where: Mama’s Fishhouse , Paia, Maui, Hawaii
Out and about: After a four day business meeting for Sallie on the Island of Kauai, Mike joined her there for an extended Hawaiian vacation. The first evening of their vacation involved a dinner at the beautiful Beach House Restaurant in Kauai with Sallie and her six kitchen business associates to celebrate their 10 year anniversary. Following dinner and celebratory champagne, to the surprise and amazement of the entire party, Mike presented Sallie with an engagement ring and asked for her hand in marriage. SHE SAID YES!!! The rest of our fabulous vacation was spent at on Maui in the Wailea area. We rented a beautiful condo in Elua Village.
Travel tips: Renting a condo made all the difference for us. Renting a convertible is a must. And visiting remote and out of the way areas (Paia and Makawao) was big fun!!!
