Arvada police are asking for help from the public in identifying a man caught by surveillance tape as he stole a motorcycle last month.

Police released the videotape today, which shows a white man, estimated to be between 22 and 26 years old, between 5’10” and 6’2″ and weighing about 160 pounds. He has a shaved head and is wearing a white t-shirt, gloves and tennis shoes. He may have a tattoo on his left calf.

The 1996 maroon Yamaha motorcycle was stolen from a home in the 8500 block of W. 54th Place on June 19th.

The video camera had been installed by the residents of the home.

Police are asking anyone with information about the suspect’s identity to call 720-898-6715.
