Out and about: Zihuatanejo is a charming Mexican town with many good restaurants on the beach and a large marina for world renowned sport fishing trips in the Pacific Ocean.
Travel tip: Check the boats and captains out the day before you want to go to reserve one the size for your group. Some of the captains and first mates speak English. We had a ‘ lucky’ day, with all four of our group pulling in large sailfish-it was an experience to remember! The fish can be released or given to the town people.
