An index of Colorado stocks climbed for a fourth consecutive week to its highest-ever weekly closing level, led by the gains of Titanium Metals Corp. and Forest Oil Corp.

The Bloomberg Colorado Index, a price-weighted list of companies based in the state, rose 5.79, or 1.9 percent, to 306.71.

Seventy-two stocks rose, 31 fell, and three were unchanged. The index has increased 28 percent in the past year.
