In this week’s documentary, three vets return from Iraq and attempt to adjust to everyday life. It goes well for a while but their friends soon tire of having to go through a security checkpoint every time they want to use the bathroom. MTV

Cameras follow a team of real estate agents working the Miami luxury housing market, exposing the kind of soulless depravity rarely seen outside the headquarters of a James Bond villain. The Learning Channel
7 p.m. “Dateline NBC”
A report chronicling one family’s efforts to rescue their daughter from heroin addiction. Addiction is never a pretty thing, especially without makeup and an inspiring TV movie soundtrack. NBC
7 p.m. “Veronica Mars”
The WB show about a teenaged detective moves to CBS. This isn’t a good sign for loyal fans. It can only be a matter of time before she teams up with Matlock. CBS
8 p.m. “Hope & Faith”
Faith moves into a furniture display at the mall. Leave it to television to find a solution to the homeless problem. ABC
10:35 p.m. “The Tonight Show”
Jessica Simpson has a duet with Willie Nelson. It must be “Jarring Physical Contrast Week” again. NBC
