When the United States is invaded by the Soviet Union, a small band of high schoolers uses guerilla tactics to stop the Russian war machine in its tracks. This was back before the Russians actually did invade and were satisfied taking over the taxi concessions in major cities. (1984) Spike TV

The first television series to dramatize a war while it was still happening. Fortunately, this part of the war will end when public gets tired of it. That’s called an “exit strategy.” FX
