Angling roundtables
The Colorado Division of Wildlife will host angler roundtable meetings in Denver and Colorado Springs to discuss proposed regulations changes effective during the period of 2006-10. The proposals cover a broad range of topics ranging from a more precise definition of flies and lures to changes in size and possession limits on numerous lakes and streams. The Denver meeting will be 6:30 p.m. Aug. 31 at the Holiday Inn Denver Central, northwest of the Interstate 25 and Interstate 70 interchange. In Colorado Springs, the Tuesday gathering will be 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the DOW office, 4255 Sinton Road. Final decisions on these proposals will be made at the Sept. 8-9 meeting of the Colorado Wildlife Commission in Lamar.
Waterfowl seminar
A two-part seminar on waterfowl hunting is scheduled Tuesday and Sept. 8 at the Division of Wildlife Education Building, 6060 Broadway. The seminar is free, but reservations are required by phoning a reservation line, 303-291-7545.
