Jen Lewin is on the road to Burning Man in Nevada’s Black Rock Desert. She’s with her husband, owner/chef Kimbal Musk of Boulder’s The Kitchen, and a harp. This will be their fourth journey to the eight-day, art/music fest/psychedelic blowout in the desert.

This year, Lewin is bringing with her a sculpture, Light Harp, a giant interactive exhibit of laser beams. When you break them, they play music. Very Burning Man.

Lewin unveiled it to friends at a party in her Boulder home Thursday night – then loaded it onto a truck with plans to start the 1,000-mile trip to Nevada on Saturday.

“(Burning Man) has the reputation of being a huge party, but that’s about 10 percent of it,” Lewin says. “It’s wild, but I find it very calm. Right now, I think it’s the most interesting art in the country.”

Ouch!

We should be so proud.

The return engagement of “Puppetry of the Penis” at the New Denver Civic Theatre stars two guys from Denver.

Joey Dixon and Preston Levato both went to the open tryouts when “Penis” was here in October 2003. The boys still maintain their residences here – but the show keeps them moving and, errr, stretching.

Tickets for the show, which opens Oct. 4, go on sale this morning at Tickets West.

Sail away

Sounds like another “Poseidon Adventure.”

Trump World magazine and Expedia.com have organized the Apprentice Legend Cruise – where 2,000 lucky ducks can cruise through the Caribbean with former contestants on “The Apprentice.” The eight-day cruise costs upward of $5,000.

According to Lloyd Grove of the NY Daily News, not all of the 15 former reality stars on board are thrilled. This is what Vail developer Raj Bhakta, a second-season contestant, had to say: “The frank answer is that it actually drains a lot of your energy to have to answer the same questions again and again: How did ‘The Apprentice’ change your life? What’s with Donald Trump’s hair? Did you ever date the receptionist? It consumes a lot of energy. I think I will answer the first 150 questions, and that will be it. A stiff scotch will be required.”
