Deborah Norville twice nearly had her own Janet Jackson wardrobe malfunction on a recent trip to Europe, the New York Daily News’ Lloyd Grove reported.
The strap on the “Inside Edition” anchor’s favorite beaded halter broke at a party at Buckingham Palace several weeks ago, sending beads flying across the room.
At a private dinner last weekend with Swedish King Gustaf, the strap broke again as Norville danced with the king. Norville grabbed the garment before exposing herself. King Gustaf, laughing, led her away to mend her blouse.
Norville, who interviewed the Swedish monarch for the “Today Show” years ago, mused: “I don’t think he remembered me from that, but he’ll never forget me now.”
