September heralds the agritainment season in Colorado, a time when farmers convert their cornfields into giant mazes and begin luring families for a day of fun on the farm. The Fritzler Maze in LaSalle opens Saturday with its sixth annual maze, a tribute to Elvis and Ray Charles. But wandering through avenues of corn is only part of the party at Fritzler. The farm this year features “The Giant,” which is billed as “the world’s largest inflatable attraction.” Also new this year at Fritzler is a pair of hovercrafts and the vertigo-inducing “verti-scope.”
