Retirement

Trinity pastor retiring|The Rev. Darrell Mount, senior pastor of Trinity United Methodist Church, has announced he will retire June 30. As senior minister since 1997, Mount is the 38th pastor to have served Trinity. While he has been pastor at Trinity, membership has grown to more than 2,000, making it one of the largest churches in the Rocky Mountain Conference. Mount ministered in the conference for 24 years, beginning at First United Methodist Church in Colorado Springs as minister of evangelism and later as executive minister. Prior to his Trinity assignment, he was senior pastor of Park City Community Church in Park City, Utah. Officials of the Trinity congregation and the Rocky Mountain Conference have begun a search for Mount’s replacement.
