Today, Colorado Governor Bill Owens will announce today that hundreds of hurricane victims will be sheltered in Colorado at the former Lowry Air Force Base. A facility there will be converted into an emergency shelter.
Details were to be revealed at a mid-day news conference. Owens will be joined for the announcement by other state officials at the State Emergency Operations Center in Centennial.
