This weekend, hundreds of Coloradans will take a long walk for a good cause. The annual Subaru MS Challenge Walk starts Friday with participants strolling a 50-mile course through metro Denver over three days. Each participant must raise $1,500 in pledges. The event – one of nine National MS Society walks held across the country – is hoping to raise $425,000 as well as increase awareness about a disease that afflicts one in 585 people in Colorado. The course winds through metro-area trails from Red Rocks Amphitheater to Stapleton’s Founders Green, with rest areas and support every 3 miles.
