The University of Denver tied Michigan State 1-1 on Monday in a men’s soccer game in East Lansing, Mich. Sophomore goalkeeper Matt Bredehoft from Poudre High School in Fort Collins made two saves as DU held Michigan State to 12 shots. Denver will host Florida Atlantic on Friday in the Pioneers’ first home game.
Sky Sox bow out with victory
Jeff Salazar hit two solo home runs, leading Colorado Springs to a 9-8 victory against the visiting Fresno Grizzlies in the Sky Sox’s final game of the season.
The Sky Sox finished 65-78.
