Talk about rock with music author/host G. Brown

7 P.M. | ENGLEWOOD G. Brown will discuss and sign his book “Colorado Rocks! A Half-Century of Music in Colorado” at the Guitar Center, 9647 E. County Line Road, just west of Interstate 25, across from Park Meadows Mall. The book profiles five decades of Colorado music, including performances by U2, Elton John and Big Head Todd & the Monsters. Brown is the morning host of KCUV-AM radio.

Art museum film series offers suspense from Hitchcock

7 P.M. | The Denver Art Museum opens its seven-week Fall 2005 Film Series, “Alfred Hitchcock: Dial S for Suspense,” at the Starz FilmCenter at the Tivoli, 900 Auraria Parkway.
